Penetrant Testing

The method is used for open surface discontinuities such as surface crack, porosity and undercut. This method can be applied day and night time depends on work pieces applicable. These methods called visible and florescent test type.

The penetrant once applied to the surface penetrates the defects. After waiting the necessary time the penetrant fluid is washed off the surface. With a developer applied to the now clean surface, the defects where the fluid has penetrated are visible. These spots are called indications and acceptance criteria define whether or not the indication is non acceptable.

Our operators have certificates according to EN 473 and ASNT minimum qualified Level II. Upon up your request Dye Penetrant procedures can be prepared by Level III personals.
