Replica Investigation

A replica is a ‘print’ of the steel microstructure, after polishing and/or etching of the surface. Additionally for carbon steel, hardness measurements are carried out on the polished surface. This method allows to us to determine fatigue strength of pipe welding, pressure pot and boiler which is used in refinery, petro chemistry and power plants.
